We are now preparing to lead the program team in Sydney, Australia for their first TeenStreet 5-10 April 2010. We would appreciate your prayers for us and for those organizing and preparing for this event!
Nicole & friends had a surprise birthday party show by DUZIE . . . the amazing EduTainers this afternoon. Her parents booked us for her special celebration. The party, originally planned for the back porch, took place in the garage with every age of friend and relative.
Our DUZIE amazing EduTainer Show included our amazing rope show, and featuring Nicole, taught 3 different rope knot tricks, tricks that you can do at a grocery store with coins, a story & magic illustration about showing love to your friends, balloon twisting taught to all the kids (Nicole on the right is featured in the photo on the right with her purple dog and friends), rocket puzzles for all the men, ziplock bending for the ladies, a straightjacket illusion, and slydini scarves for the grand finale!
We loved to be able to help Nicole and her family and friends celebrate her special day . . . the DUZIE way!
Today was the last and final day of our 5 day DUZIE Day Camp. We had 21 kids from 7-15 years old. Today was the grand finale at Kim’s Lake (Barnes Lake near Carsonville, MI) where we went with 4 car loads full. It was a great week of mentoring and impacting the next generation. We really tried to expose them to creativity in multiple ways. With our “Hand Voting” today, all the parts were loved by all. We loved it and plan to do it again next year (of course there will be some parts we change up to make it better for those who attend next year . . . and DUZIE could never do it again twice!).
A special thanks to Josiah Potter for the games, great role model and video/photography groups. Thanks to Don & Sherryl Potter for their woodworking and cooking groups + making sure the lunches were successful. Without you three we couldn’t have done it for the whole week. And a special thanks also to Kim McDowell for her lake and fun stuff today + Kyle Mero for helping man the water groups! Thanks most of all to God for his amazing creativity in people, nature and life and the fine example to us!

We were hired to do “walk around entertainment” for Stephanie Jackson’s open house. She was the Saludatorian (second highest in her class) for Kingston High School. This Open House was to celebrate with family and friends her accomplishment. We had a great time entertaining at picnic tables, under trees, and out in the grass at the Kingston Park. Congratulations Stephanie! Thanks Jim and Christie for hiring us!
